Mailing List problems – RESOLVED!

I am working with the hosting company tech support to figure out why the mailing list system is not working. (I think the host company is moving some files around.)

I am sorry for this inconvenience and I will update this post when the issue is resolved.

Ok I’m still not 100% sure what happened, but sometime about 3 weeks ago the mailing list stopped working. I thought it was rather quiet around here :) but thought nothing of it.

In the future, please let me know at adam@parkridgehoa.com if you suspect anything is wrong with the website or with anything parkridgehoa.com-related.

Upcoming November election

A reminder to the residents in our neighborhood about the upcoming November election. Here are our present representatives:

Texas U.S. Representative (Congressional District 25) Congressman Lloyd Doggett
Texas U.S. Senators (represent the entire state) Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson and Senator John Cornyn
Texas State Senator (Senate District 25) Senator Jeff Wentworth
Texas State Representative (House District 47) Representative Valinda Bolton

Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst
Mayor Lee Leffingwell

Everyone should register to vote and KNOW who we will be voting on in our district. Do the research on who is running against them. You can discover a lot about our present representatives. Let’s do our part!

Zoning Petition for Proposed Used Car Lot

Recently the board has been notified by the city that a petition for rezoning for a used car lot has been been submitted for Cullen Lane, right behind Park Ridge. We, the board, are opposing this as we don’t see it in the best interest for our community. We need your help in this endeavor. Attached is a petition to voice your opposition to this business. Please sign and email back to me, Pat Edwards. Or if need be I can come pick it up, just let me know your address and a good time to come. The zoning committe is having their meeting July 7th to discuss this. So the sooner I receive the petitions back from the community,the stronger our voice will be. I want to have the petition in to them as they are making their decisions. There will be a public meeting on July 20th and I will send out another email about it as it draws closer.

Testing out WordPress for our needs…
